Best Local Rock God – New Haven Advocate

Bill Collins
He plays gee-tar and sings in the C&W tinged, bar-rockin’ Swaggerts. His resume? Well, listen up whelp. He played in equally punchy, grease-a-billy Big Bad Johns. He played in the boot-to-the-throat street punk phenoms the Baltimore Footstompers. He’s opened for The Clancy Brothers doin’ solo Irish tunes. He played in the notoriously abrasive punk band Fang. He played in the hardcore legeng MDC. He taught Tim (a.k.a. Lint) from Rancid/Operation Ivy fame how to play. He gives guitar lessons of any style you wanna learn. He’s got cooler stories than that weird uncle you dig. And he’s a helluva nice guy in top of all that. Take a lesson or buy him a beer.
